ModnPods successfully delivered modular staff accommodation for Homes NSW in Broken Hill, managing the process from early design coordination through precision off-site manufacturing to efficient on-site installation.
The project demonstrates the practical strength of Modern Methods of Construction (MMC) in regional Australia. By manufacturing the modules within our controlled Gold Coast facility, optimising transport logistics and streamlining installation, ModnPods reduced on-site disruption while maintaining quality, safety and programme certainty.
Each module was designed and engineered to respond to the specific site constraints, transport requirements and operational needs of the project, without compromising finish, durability or long-term performance.
Through careful coordination between our team, project partners and government stakeholders, the completed accommodation was successfully transported from the Gold Coast to Broken Hill and installed on site, providing quality housing for key workers in regional New South Wales.
The Broken Hill project is another example of how off-site manufacturing can support the delivery of housing in regional and remote locations, combining efficient manufacturing with carefully planned logistics and installation.
