We’re thrilled to have wrapped up another conference week with Caravan Industry Association Australia (CIAA) and Caravan Park Association Queensland (CPAQ)! This year’s conference week was one of our best yet, featuring world-class speakers delivering exceptional content, engaging social events, and numerous opportunities for networking and growth. ModnPods took pride in serving as primary sponsors of the CIAA and sponsoring the CPAQ awards dinner. For us, it was more than just a conference; it was an opportunity to immerse ourselves in the heartbeat of the community, exchange insights, and showcase our commitment to the industry.
At this years event we unveiled our latest addition to our innovative BasePod Range: the Duplex! This single modular building, spanning 15.5m x 4.2m, is ingeniously and uniquely configured to divide two dwellings onto one chassis, each boasting a thoughtfully designed layout featuring one bedroom, open living, kitchenette, and one bathroom. The Duplex modular stands as a testament to our commitment to innovation and excellence in the realm of modular accommodations.
The Duplex on showcase was manufactured for our client, Tim Eddy, who was seeking a new accommodation solution for one of his holiday parks, Pelican Rest. This new modular design meets the needs of Tim’s park, focusing on longevity, efficiency, and guest comfort. Tim plans to roll out this new modular design at his holiday park, enhancing the park’s accommodation offerings and providing guests with an innovative stay experience.
In addition, we proudly presented our case study titled “Thinking outside the Pod,” showcasing our team‘s exceptional dedication and ingenuity. Led by Larissa Rose – Environmental and Sustainability Manager, John Christie – Chief Revenue Officer, Josh Weldon – Design Manger, and Emma Jensen – Project Manager, our team delivered a compelling presentation that captivated the audience from start to finish. Centred around the Hawks Nest Project, we emphasised not only the innovative solutions we provide but also the transformative journey we embark on with our clients. From initial concept to final execution, our team’s collaborative efforts and unwavering commitment to exceeding expectations were evident every step of the way. The success of our case study presentation underscored not only the effectiveness of our modular accommodation solutions but also our ability to forge lasting partnerships built on trust, innovation, and excellence.
At the CPAQ Awards dinner, our team embraced the social side of the event while also making meaningful contributions. Our Managing Director, Stuart Giles, had the honour of presenting an award. Along with the festivities, we sustained connections and shared insights over refreshments at the ModnPods Hydration bar, strengthening our network within the community. Additionally, we teed off alongside cricket star Usman Khawaja at the Golf day, where our combined efforts raised an impressive $5k for the Usman Khawaja Foundation. Through these engaging social activities, we not only celebrated camaraderie but also demonstrated our dedication to giving back and making a positive impact beyond the conference walls.
As we wrap up an exhilarating conference week with CIAA & CPAQ, we’re filled with excitement for the invaluable experiences and connections we’ve gained. To the event organisers, delegates, and attendees, we extend our heartfelt thanks for organising and participating in such a remarkable gathering.
We would also like to show appreciation the whole ModnPods team, who went above and beyond to make our presence at the conference a resounding success. As we reflect on the inspiring conversations, unforgettable moments, and shared successes of this conference week, we’re more motivated than ever to continue pushing boundaries, innovating, and shaping the future of modular accommodation solutions. Until next year!
